Tons of news on the NDAA – and other efforts where the states and even local communities are telling DC – back the hell off! Joining Michael Boldin to talk about this and, well all kinds of other tenther goodness is our friend Jason Rink, live from Austin Texas.
We also get a report from our three events held at CPAC in DC this past weekend. Plenty of education and outreach, media connections – and of course the premiere of the new documentary – Nullification the Rightful Remedy.
Also joining the show – one of our favorite guests, Joe Wolverton – who’s here to hammer on the feds – which is what Joe does best.
When Esquire Magazine and Heritage foundation attack your work at the same time – and use almost the same talking points, are you doing something right? Well – if you’re catching flak, you’re definitely over the target. Closing the show, we share a special response by Mike Maharrey to Esquire – the power-loving, race-baiting establishment shills that they are.
“The feedback we got was that people got the message. We got a lot of ‘I never knew that before.”
–Jason Rink
“Instruct all of our town of Fairfax Agencies to decline requests by Federal Agencies acting under detention powers that could violate peoples’ rights.”
–Fairfax, CA resolution against the NDAA
A clear message is beginning to take shape. Washington D.C. – we the people of the several states are not pleased with your policies. We are not pleased with your legislation. We are not pleased with your handling of our economy, nor your relationship with the Federal Reserve, which continues to blindly devalue our national currency. So, we the people of the several states are going to move to protect ourselves through the constitutional means available to us. That means the Tenth Amendment, Article 1 Section’s 8 and 10, and in fact the entire Constitution!
–Doug Tjaden
“we don’t need the permission of Washington to do anything, and if they tell us to do something that is inconsistent with the Constitution or inconsistent with our sovereignty as states, we can just simply ignore them.”
–Joe Wolverton
“Beyond studying the words of James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington and all of these men that we need to study. We need to start better educating ourselves to studying the timeless principles that informed them.”
–Joe Wolverton
“By now we should be used to the fact that all of our federal representatives and many of our state representatives are lying to us about the fact they’re taking powers that isn’t theirs.”
–Joe Wolverton
“I think every one of the fifty states that makes up this country should completely ignore everything Washington says that doesn’t fall within the enumerated powers.”
–Joe Wolverton
