Last week was the biggest week ever for the nullification movement. More Tenther bills had hearings and votes in state houses around the country than any week in modern times. And this week is off to a big start as well. There’s states voting to nullify federal gun laws, indefinite detention, drone spying – and we cover the highlights throughout the show tonight.
Welcome to Tenther Radio Episode 88! Hosts Michael Boldin and Nick Hankoff brought the listener the latest of an epidemic commonly known as Nullification Fever. The CDC is very concerned about this spread of this illness which seems to strike various state legislators, city council members and politically active citizens. Something which really concerns the CDC as well as the DHS.
Much to the CDC’s dismay, Patient Zero Boldin and Hankoff help spread this fever across the country. They reported on Alaska House gun laws, Montana and Indiana committee votes on the NDAA, Virginia sending a drone nullfication to Gov. Bob McDonnell’s desk. Perhaps if we are lucky, McDonnell will catch the disease as well.
During the next segment, the hosts take a break from disease spreading and mentioned some listener comments. David Tarkington asked about what was going in the state of Missouri with the gun issue. Boldin explained to him that on the Tenth Amendment Center’s website we have a tracking page which covers much of what is going on in each state.
Boldin and Hankoff goes back to the Nullification Fever reporting. However, they focused mostly on how California is even catching Nullification Fever. California’s state assembly now has a nullify NDAA bill that is being considered. Apparently all of San Francisco Board of Supervisors caught the fever as well for they all unanimously rejected NDAA indefinite detention.
Mike Maharrey finished the show with his powerful testimony from the Tennessee State Senate Judiciary committee which everyone should really listen too.
Of course, there is even more! Nick Hankoff brightly lead us into the Post Show After Dark Segment of the episode. Well to find out what happened, you will just have to listen to show number 88!
