We are living in a world of government gone wild. The IRS is targeting people based on political views. The guy who kills kids with drones in Pakistan claims the power to protect kids from killers in America. And the rubber stamp federal courts didn’t turn down a single request for electronic surveillance – out of 1,789 in 2012. Can anyone trust these people to do anything right? Well, you shouldn’t.

This week Rasmussen Reports released the numbers from a new national poll on nullification. For those who’ve followed the nullification movement for years, the results are pretty shocking. Mainstream approval is in the majority. Here at the Tenth Amendment Center, we’ve been fighting Goliath for years – and we’ll continue to do so into the future. But, now we know that the majority of mainstream American has our back – meaning, we’re going to continue pushing forward until we all win for liberty.

In our news segment we cover the Texas house nullifying all federal gun control measures. A bill to nullify the unconstitutional federal ban on hemp farming in Colorado is almost at the governor’s desk. A new bill in Vermont would nullify warrantless drone spying. And the local nullification movement is picking up steam in Kansas.

Kansas started a domino effect by passing the 2nd Amendment preservation act in April. This week, we’re seeing similar – and even stronger bills – move forward in Missouri and Alabama. Plus a solid bill is up for a vote in Texas on Saturday. We’ll talk about that in our news segment.

Two weeks ago on this show, we shared the scandal behind real id nullification in Missouri. Today, documents have been released proving that governor Jay Nixon was fully aware he was violating the state law to implement the federal act. And Mike Maharrey had a great interview on Clarkcast this week. The topic? The importance of decentralizing power. Nullification news can be local as well!  Utah’s Iron County, Florida’s Lee County,  Tennessee’s Carter County, Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna County and Millinocket, Maine all pass some version of Second Amendment protections resolutions.  Brooksville, Maine passed a Food Sovereignty Ordinance.   Las Vegas joins the Anti-NDAA movement as well.

The Political Party Hangover

Welcome to Tenther Radio Episode 90!  On this week’s episode, nearly a half dozen state houses have stood up to say NO to unconstitutional federal acts in the past week. Plus, we’ll talk about something that a number of you have been asking. How do agencies actually carry out enforcement of federal laws? And more importantly, how can we use this information to stop them? Whether it’s the FDA, the ATF or the DEA – their method is the same, and so is ours.

Nick Hankoff joins Michael Boldin for the big 9-0!  During the news, the hosts discuss various nullification efforts across the country, Michael closes out with his weekly rant.  However, the show doesn’t end there as there is the After Dark portion of Tenther Radio.

First out of the gate, Oklahoma passed a nullify Obamacare bill (HB1021): 72-20.  Michael praised Oklahoma for their strategy being adaptive going after all aspects of Obamacare.

Later, the Montana Senate also voted to nullify federal gun bans:28-21.  Now both the Senate and House need to reconcile their versions of the bills during the conference committees.  The Tenth Amendment Center is confident that is bill will make it to the Governor Steve Bullock.  If you live in Montana, you can reach the governor at (406) 444-3111.

Also, Idaho House approves a Second Amendment Preservation Act (HB0219) which is a very solid bill which prohibits all state and local enforcement of federal gun laws, rules, or orders on firearms, accessories and ammunition owned or manufactured in the state.

New Hampshire has been active as well for there is movement on two nullification bills.  There will be a vote for nullification on the ban of industrial hemp. (HB 153)  Also, the Liberty Preservation Act (HB399) passed on the house floor: 337-15.

Later, John Lambert joined the Dynamic Duo for an update on what is going on the Lone Star State.  Today, the Federalism and Fiscal Responsibility held hearings for multiple gun protection bills before the committee.  Tenth Amendment Center is focusing on HB 553 and HB 929.  If you live in Texas, politely contact Committee Chairman Brandon Creighton at (512) 463-0726 and let him know of your support and how you want to see these bill voted on in committee.

Michael finishes the show with his weekly rant.  He discusses how it is the Libertarians who are negatively impacting things on the grass root level.
