In our news segment we cover the Texas house nullifying all federal gun control measures. A bill to nullify the unconstitutional federal ban on hemp farming in Colorado is almost at the governor’s desk. A new bill in Vermont would nullify warrantless drone spying. And the local nullification movement is picking up steam in Kansas.

Two weeks ago on this show, we shared the scandal behind real id nullification in Missouri. Today, documents have been released proving that governor Jay Nixon was fully aware he was violating the state law to implement the federal act. And Mike Maharrey had a great interview on Clarkcast this week. The topic? The importance of decentralizing power. We’ll dig a little deeper into that subject, and talk about how moving political power close to home is a benefit to you, no matter what political stripes you happen to wear.

If you’ve spent days calling DC to support or oppose this bill or that bill, you’ve wasted your time. To advance liberty, forget DC – that pit of criminals. You will never, ever accomplish your goals there. Don’t call anyone there. Don’t send letters to reps or senators. Don’t support campaigns, or donate money to them. Ever. Instead, you should spend your time, energy and money on things that are effective. Closing the show, we share with you six steps you can take to help nullify right now.

Having just completed his 4th Boston Marathon, and sitting literally just blocks away when the explosions went off, the Tenth Amendment Center’s Benjamin Gross has a powerful perspective on what happened, and the response. Plus, Joel Poindexter has an article where the Boston lockdown gives him flashbacks to home searches that he participated in with the US army in Iraq.

When MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show producer Steve Benen shares his opinion, it’s usually just best to turn a blind eye to his idiocy. But, sometimes it’s important to pay attention to what they say because it can actually give us insight on just what we should do for liberty.
Do you believe in self-rule? Should you be free to choose your own medicine, whether or not to gamble, and when you can speak freely? When it comes to the FDA, the DEA, and just about every other federal agency, self-rule doesn’t fit into their goals. So how do people who want to live free actually do so? We’ll dig into these important questions…

In this 92nd episode of TRX, Michael Boldin and Lesley Swann mark the beginning of the end of federal lawlessness.

“We see time and time again, one person leading the charge that gets people so irate, the federal bill is stopped,” says Swann after reporting on news from around the country. From Kansas to Florida, Obamacare to indefinite detention, non-compliance and nullification are the go-to doctrines these days for local governments.

This blog’s reporter then joined in to take listeners and members’ questions and comments. One tenther prompted a spirited discussion on who’s really supreme.

“What the Supreme Court says or doesn’t say about nullification is irrelevant.”

“Keep in mind, the Supreme Court has opinions, not rulings so let’s stop treating them as such.”

The show is closed with Mike Maharrey’s observation on Rosa Parks and her defiance that brought freedom to so many. But the show continues! In the After Dark segment, some whackier routes to liberty are discussed. Don’t miss it!

We’ll cover what Judge Andrew Napolitano had to say on Fox and Friends – and how it can help you nullify in your state too.

The nullification movement is going local. Whether it’s the right to keep and bear arms, or food sovereignty and freedom, or ndaa indefinite detention. People are standing up in their own local communities to say NO to washington DC.

Covering the news, Montana sends gun control nullification bill to the governor. South Carolina Senate passes NDAA nullification: 25-15. Well known professor, Walter Williams testified in support of nullification of Obamacare in South Carolina. Arizona’s legal tender bill up for a house vote.

Michael and Nick comment on Judge Andrew Napolitano’s recent comments on Fox and Friends about how effective nullification can be if the states don’t assist the Federal Government.

Nullification news can be local as well! Utah’s Iron County, Florida’s Lee County, Tennessee’s Carter County, Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna County and Millinocket, Maine all pass some version of Second Amendment protections resolutions. Brooksville, Maine passed a Food Sovereignty Ordinance. Las Vegas joins the Anti-NDAA movement as well.

States refusing to cooperate with the feds is an extremely effective tool to nullify unconstitutional federal acts. This week, we got some mainstream coverage and support too. We’ll cover what Judge Andrew Napolitano had to say on Fox and Friends - and how it can help you nullify in your state too.

Welcome to Tenther Radio Episode 90! On this week’s episode, nearly a half dozen state houses have stood up to say NO to unconstitutional federal acts in the past week. Plus, we’ll talk about something that a number of you have been asking. How do agencies actually carry out enforcement of federal laws? And more importantly, how can we use this information to stop them? Whether it’s the FDA, the ATF or the DEA – their method is the same, and so is ours.

Nick Hankoff joins Michael Boldin for the big 9-0! During the news, the hosts discuss various nullification efforts across the country, Michael closes out with his weekly rant. However, the show doesn’t end there as there is the After Dark portion of Tenther Radio.

First out of the gate, Oklahoma passed a nullify Obamacare bill (HB1021): 72-20. Michael praised Oklahoma for their strategy being adaptive going after all aspects of Obamacare.

Later, the Montana Senate also voted to nullify federal gun bans:28-21. Now both the Senate and House need to reconcile their versions of the bills during the conference committees. The Tenth Amendment Center is confident that is bill will make it to the Governor Steve Bullock. If you live in Montana, you can reach the governor at (406) 444-3111.

Also, Idaho House approves a Second Amendment Preservation Act (HB0219) which is a very solid bill which prohibits all state and local enforcement of federal gun laws, rules, or orders on firearms, accessories and ammunition owned or manufactured in the state.

New Hampshire has been active as well for there is movement on two nullification bills. There will be a vote for nullification on the ban of industrial hemp. (HB 153) Also, the Liberty Preservation Act (HB399) passed on the house floor: 337-15.

Later, John Lambert joined the Dynamic Duo for an update on what is going on the Lone Star State. Today, the Federalism and Fiscal Responsibility held hearings for multiple gun protection bills before the committee. Tenth Amendment Center is focusing on HB 553 and HB 929. If you live in Texas, politely contact Committee Chairman Brandon Creighton at (512) 463-0726 and let him know of your support and how you want to see these bill voted on in committee.

Michael finishes the show with his weekly rant. He discusses how it is the Libertarians who are negatively impacting things on the grass root level.

However, this isn’t all! There is the After Dark part of the show which you can only hear only on the live feed on Tenther Radio or the podcast. Not going to spoil it, but you will hear Nick Hankoff say the following, “I am only so conservative as how hard my boot is coming down on your leftist neck.” (Potential blackmail material? Hmmm?)
